Three more Bishop Lynch student-athletes made it official Wednesday, signing letters of intent to compete at the collegiate level during a National Signing Day ceremony.
Mallory Lancaster signed with Trinity University, despite missing most of her senior season recovering from a major knee injury. Lancaster was able to make it back in order to contribute to the Lady Friars' run to the 2017 TAPPS 6A Girls State Championship, where BL defeated Parish Episcopal.
Jesseca Hageman will swim at Centenary College (La.) after helping the Lady Friars to a third-place team finish at the TAPPS Division I State Swim Championships.
Hageman helped break the school record in the 400-yard freestyle relay, the event which helped BL edge out Nolan for third place at state.
She also competed in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay at state.
AJ Armenta, a member of Dallas United Crew, will continue his competitive career at the University of San Diego.
Armenta has served as coxswain for a number of boats for both Dallas United Crew and White Rock Rowing during his BL career.
