The Bishop Lynch Signing Day Class of 2018 has grown by two now that Anna Schrader and Matthew Regner have made it official, bringing the total number of BL signees to 22 during the 2017-18 school year.
Schrader will continue her soccer career at the University of Denver after serving as captain for the Lady Friars the past two seasons. Schrader was a 2nd Team All-District selection this past season, as well as Academic All-State. She also received Honorable Mention All-District as a sophomore and won a state championship as a freshman.
Schrader also competed for the Bishop Lynch cross country and track teams and played 10 years of club soccer. Despite missing extensive time with an injury, Schrader notched three goals and an assist this past season, scoring one game-winner.
Regner signed his letter of intent to play rugby at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. Regner lettered in both football and wrestling at Bishop Lynch, picking up 2nd Team All-State honors this past season after a second-place finish at the TAPPS State Championships.
Regner also turned in a fifth-place finish at the ultra-competitive Cougar Classic in January and helped the Friars finish third at the Prep State Duals and fourth at the Prep State Championships.
The Bishop Lynch High School Athletic Department would like to congratulate these student-athletes, as well as their coaches, parents and family.
