The Bishop Lynch varsity boys golf team won its third straight tournament Tuesday with a top finish at the Midlothian Heritage Invitational, hosted by the Golf Club of Dallas.
The Friars played well on a very difficult golf course in extremely windy conditions. Top finishers were junior Dalton McKinney who placed second with a score of 75, senior Jamie Ruengmateekhun finished fourth with a 77, and junior Jack Adams finished fifth with a 78.
The junior varsity team also had a strong outing in the same tournament with a second place finish in the JV division. Team members were junior Connor Dowling, sophomores Seth Muehlstein and Ray Chavez, and freshmen Jake Pencsak and Nick Heatly.
The JV competes again on Oct. 31 in the Plano High School Classic at Pecan Hollow Golf Course.
