Bishop Lynch will have two representatives at the girls state powerlifting meet in a few weeks.

Hannah Eboagu and Jasmine Ruvalcaba placed high enough at last weekend's regional meet in Cedar Hill to earn their spot at state.

Eboagu finished second in her weight class, totaling 840 pounds with a 320 squat, 165 bench and 355 dead lift (a personal record).

Ruvalcaba was fifth in her class, totaling a personal-best 925 pounds with lifts of 160 (bench), 375 (dead lift) and a personal record of 390 on the squat rack.

Jane Onuoha finished fourth in her class with personal bests in squat and dead lift. Onuoha totaled 710 pounds. Kennedy Martin totaled a personal-best 745 pounds, passing her previous bests in all three lifts.

The state championship meet will be held March 18 in Waco.
