Lady Friar softball coach reaches career victory milestone

Bishop Lynch softball coach Amy Wheeler earned her 400th career victory Tuesday with a 12-0 win over TCA.

Coach Wheeler is one of the winningest coaches in Bishop Lynch history (most wins among female coaches all time) along with being a great teacher/mentor for her students.

She is currently the career wins leader for all private school softball coaches and in the Top 30 all-time in the state of Texas – public and private.

Along with her 400 victories, Coach Wheeler has led the Lady Friars to three state championships and 14 district titles. In 2007, she was recognized as the TAPPS 6A Coach of the Year and in 2010, she received the Softball Coach of the Year award from the Texas Private School Coaches Association.

Currently, she holds a career coaching record of 400 wins against 179 losses.

Congratulations to coach Amy Wheeler on this huge career milestone!
