The Bishop Lynch swim team celebrated their seniors last Thursday night as part of their competition against Woodrow Wilson.
The girls swim team came up just short of a victory, losing to Woodrow in the final event and ending with a final score of 96-92. The boys dominated, winning with a score of 109-52.
Weber led the boys to victories in the medley relay, 50 and 100 free as well as the 200 free relay. Freshman Callen Singhania took down the rest of the backstroke field with a victory in the 100 back with a time of 1:03.61. Finally, freshman Stella Todd broke the school record in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:23.65.
The Friar swim team will be back in action when they host John Paul II, Nolan Catholic, and Bishop Dunne on Saturday. The meet will take place at the Knights of Columbus pool with a start time of 12 pm.
