Tennis team falls to Parish, Liberty Christian

The Bishop Lynch tennis team suffered a pair of losses last week, falling to district foes Parish Episcopal and Liberty Christian on consecutive days.

On Wednesday, the Friars fell to Parish by a 10-2 count at UT-Dallas, notching wins on the boys' side in singles play. Beck McCall dropped Parish's Joel Webb by scores of 6-0, 6-1. Antonio Andrews also beat Webb, by a 6-2 score.

In men's doubles, Ashlyn Duy and Thomas Earp fell in a tough match, losing by scores of 6-4, 6-4.

The following day, BL lost to Liberty by a 9-1 score at the Dallas Athletic Center. The Friars' lone win was earned by McCall, who won a marathon singles match with an 8-6 score.

Bishop Lynch will be in action again Tuesday against Nolan Catholic at the DAC.
