The Bishop Lynch track team won six medals and earned points in many more events for Top 10 team finishes at the Greenhill Relays on Friday.
The Friars finished fourth in the team standings with 72.5 points, while the girls were seventh overall with 29 points.
Jake Bayouth was the only gold medal winner for Bishop Lynch, winning the men's discus with a throw of 129-00, which was almost nine feet better than the runner-up. Ryan Huntress took home a silver medal in the pole vault, his top height being 11-06.00, a foot better than Cole Rappaport, who finished fourth.
The 400-meter relay team of Plae Wyatt, Theo Uhrik, Cole Johnson, and Charles Crawford won silver with a time of 44.86, just 0.26 seconds behind the winner. The same group also won bronze in the 800-meter relay with a time of 1:36.04.
Elli Jordan claimed two bronze medals for the girls' team – the only medals won by the team in the meet. Jordan was third in the shot put with a distance of 28-07.00, and third in the discus with a distance of 75-09.75.
The teams will head to Carrollton on Thursday for the Prince of Peace Winter Warm-Up. After spring break they'll host the Bishop Lynch Invitational at Roffino Stadium on March 22.
