Lady Friars continue to improve in freshman season

The Lady Friar varsity lacrosse program continues to improve and competed very well in their most recent outings while still searching for their initial win.

The Lady Friars (0-4) dropped a 7-3 decision at home to Parish Episcopal on March 7, despite leading at halftime. The most recent outing (March 23) saw the girls fall to Bridge Lacrosse by a 6-1 count on the road.

The Lady Friars will play three times in the next week – all on the road – starting with Wednesday's match at Parish. On Saturday, the ladies travel to play Frisco at 10 am and then head to Plano next Wednesday (4/11) for a 7 pm contest.

The next home game for the Lady Friars is Monday, April 16 at 7 pm.

The junior varsity girls earned their first win March 23 with a 4-3 win at Bridge. That game was centered between a pair of 5-4 losses in which the team was leading during both.

The Lady Friar JV has four games remaining, two at home and two on the road.
