Lady Friars dominate defensively en route to 3-0 start

Defense continues to rule for the Lady Friars as the new soccer season saw Bishop Lynch earn two more shutout wins during the last week.

The Lady Friars (3-0-0 / 3-0) blanked Parish, 3-0, and Liberty Christian, 5-0, for road district wins and have outscored three district opponents 17-0 this season.

In the win at Parish, Alexis Sanders scored twice and Mallory Johnson added another. Kaky Kuby had a hand in assisting on all three goals and Johnson assisted on one.

In Argyle, Johnson scored twice and assisted on two goals, Sanders had a goal and assist and Kuby turned in another three-assist performance in addition to scoring a goal. Shannon Chester notched her first goal of the season.

The Lady Friars are back on the road again tonight to take on Prestonwood Christian at 7 pm. They'll go back to Plano on Monday to take on John Paul II before returning home for a huge district showdown Thursday, Nov. 16 against Ursuline.
