As part of Bishop Lynch High School's student formation realignment, BL has hired Allie Daus as its new women's athletic director/head women's soccer coach.

Coach Daus comes to Bishop Lynch with years of high school executive leadership team and soccer coach experience. Most recently Coach Daus has coached the women's and men's soccer teams at Bishop Dunne Catholic School where she was also the school's director of communications and a member of Bishop Dunne's executive leadership team.

Prior to her time at Bishop Dunne, Coach Daus was the head soccer coach at Ursuline Academy. Under her leadership, Ursuline Academy won back-to-back TAPPS Division 1 state soccer championships.

Coach Daus was a soccer standout as a high school student at Ursuline Academy and played four years of NCAA Division 1 soccer at Pennsylvania State University. During her collegiate career, her soccer team won four Big Ten championships.

BL Principal Dr. Chad Riley is excited to have Coach Daus at the helm of the Friar women's soccer team and all women's sports.

"With Coach Daus' extensive school leadership roles and outstanding soccer experience, she's a natural fit for Bishop Lynch's new position. Coach Daus earned her master's degree in educational leadership from the University of Notre Dame last summer, which added another impressive credential to her skill set," said Dr. Riley.

Coach Daus is thrilled to be coaching soccer and leading women's sports at Bishop Lynch High School.

"I have a passion for Catholic education, and I believe that leaders of Catholic schools are so blessed to be given the opportunity to form the total student using Christ as the most integral tool for formation. My new role at Bishop Lynch will allow me to do just that," said Coach Daus.

Chris Rebuck, Bishop Lynch president, welcomed Coach Daus on campus today and lent his full support to Daus in her new role working alongside Men's Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Greg Price.

"I believe Coach Daus will be an excellent leader for the Bishop Lynch women's soccer program, as well as all women's sports. Bishop Lynch has a proud history of athletic formation, and I am excited to see Coach Price and Coach Daus work together for the betterment of BL," said Rebuck.

Coach Daus will start work at BL June 10. A special meet-and-greet reception will be held on campus later in May.
