Women's lacrosse gets their first win of the season over Bridge Lacrosse

Box Score DALLAS -- After getting runners-up the past two seasons, the 2023 women's lacrosse team gets their first win of the season 12-0 over Bridge Lacrosse.

The Friars were led by sophomore Quincy Salinas, who had three goals on three shots. She also led the team in draw controls, getting four in the game. Quincy's older sister Corbin was tied for second on the team with two goals and one assist. Daryn Raleigh also had two goals and one assist for the Friars. 

Three Friars led the way in ground balls - Jane Sleiman, Lydia Fontane and Maggie Weber all had three groundballs in the victory.

Jana Ampil was the Friars' goalkeeper in the contest. The sophomore held Bridge goalless and had four saves.
