Women's Lacrosse bounces back with big victory over Bridge

Box Score DALLAS -- After falling to Grapevine 5-0 on Monday, the women's lacrosse team bounced back with a huge 16-0 victory over Bridge Lacrosse last evening. This is the team's second victory over Bridge this year with a combined score of 28-0 in both games.

The Friars were led by Daryn Raleigh who scored five goals in the match. Sisters Corbin and Quincy Salinas each added three goals to help the Friars to the dominant victory.

The ladies have one more game against John Paul II on Thursday in Plano before they travel to Round Rock to compete in the TAPPS Lacrosse Showcase for the first time.

The team is very excited to compete in the showcase for the first time in program history. The men competed last season and will also be traveling down to Round Rock next week.

NEXT UP:
The varsity team will be traveling to Plano to take on John Paul II for the first of two times this season this Thursday at 7:00 PM.

The junior varsity won a thrilling 6-5 contest over Bridge Lacrosse last night.
