Justin McFadden is entering his ninth year as head coach for the baseball program at Bishop Lynch High School. Since taking the reins in 2018, Coach McFadden has instilled a family-focused culture rooted in passion, accountability, and brotherhood — values that continue to shape the identity of the Friar baseball program.

In both 2023 and 2024, the team set a new school record with 29 wins — surpassing a mark that had stood since 2009. The Friars also advanced to the championship game of the prestigious DFW Private School Classic and earned widespread recognition, climbing into the Dallas Morning News Top 10 combined public and private school rankings throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Coach McFadden earned TAPPS Coach of the Year honors in 2024.

Under Coach McFadden’s leadership, Bishop Lynch Baseball has seen unprecedented growth and visibility. Tryout participation has surged, with nearly 70 student-athletes competing for roster spots in the upcoming year, a testament to the program’s development and reputation.

Outside of Bishop Lynch, Coach McFadden is the founder and director of the Dallas Bandits, a respected select baseball organization serving athletes ages 6 to 18. His organization supports over 20 youth and high school showcase teams, providing year-round private lessons, clinics, and camps across the metroplex. Through his work with both the Bandits and Bishop Lynch, Coach McFadden has helped over 70 athletes earn the opportunity to continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level in recent years.

A native of Mesquite, Texas, Coach McFadden graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business and Communications. He is proud to call the Dallas-Fort Worth area home, where he is surrounded by a large and supportive extended family of over 65 relatives. When not on the field, he enjoys exploring new travel destinations whenever time allows.
