Friars sweep team titles at POP, medal in almost 20 events

Bishop Lynch swept the team titles at Thursday's Winter Warm-up, hosted by Carrollton's Prince of Peace Christian School. The meet was billed as the largest private school meet in the state.

Both the varsity boys and girls took home team titles, combining to collect a total of 17 Top 3 finishes in 15 different events.

The boys won a gold, seven silver and two bronze, including medaling in four relay events and three field events. The girls won five gold, a silver and two bronze including a pair of relay victories and dominance in field events.

Bishop Lynch will look to continue its hot start to the 2018 season in two weeks when they host the Bishop Lynch Invitational on March 23 at Roffino Stadium.
