Home crowd witnesses BL domination at Roffino

Bishop Lynch track and field athletes owned the day during Friday's BL Invitational, winning both team titles at Roffino Stadium by considerable margins.

The Lady Friars blew away the competition with 273 total points, more than 160 points better than the second-place team from Temple Christian School. The Friars tallied 175 points, 40 points better than TCA-Addison, which finished second.

The Lady Friars won gold in four of the seven field events and two of three relays. The girls earned eight medals in the running events. The Friars won three field events and totaled eight medals in the seven events. The boys also won six medals in running events (five gold).
