Carey Knutson joins Bishop Lynch High School as Head Softball Coach, bringing extensive experience in athletics, youth development, and leadership. Coach Knutson earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Angelo State University and his Master of Arts in History from Wayland Baptist University.
Over the course of his career, he has held leadership and instructional roles with organizations such as the Greater Wichita YMCA, where he directed a wide range of athletic and youth programs, and has coached multiple fastpitch softball teams, including the Highland Park Bombers and Navajo Girls Fastpitch.
A dedicated mentor both on and off the field, Coach Knutson looks forward to developing student-athletes who strive for excellence, teamwork, and integrity as members of the Friar softball program.
