Tony Bishop Jr. is beginning his first year at Bishop Lynch HS as the head freshman coach and varsity assistant. He is a dedicated basketball coach and former professional player with over thirteen years of international experience, including stints in the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Romania, Denmark, Panama, and Lithuania.
He most recently worked as a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual and previously served as an assistant coach and financial literacy teacher at Mesquite Horn High School. Coach Bishop is also the founder of a foundation that empowers youth through basketball and community engagement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science with a minor in Health from Texas State University.
