Bishop Lynch put on an impressive show Friday during the Friars' preseason scrimmage against the Ranchview Wolves at Roffino Stadium.
The varsity scored five times and completely dominated the live quarter that concluded the event, outscoring Ranchview 13-0 during the 12-minute period.
Overall, the Friars dominated in total yards (403-187), first downs (24-9) and touchdowns (5-1). During the live quarter, the Friars picked up eight first downs compared to just one for Ranchview, outgained the Wolves by a 132-20 margin and kept from committing a single penalty or turnover in the 12-minute frame.

Darries Boyd ran for touchdowns of 25, 11, and 4 yards, sophomore
Isaiah Schmidtke scored on a 7-yard run, and juniors
Michael Light and
Dillon Moncier hooked up for a 39-yard touchdown pass.
The offense displayed good balance, rushing for 252 yards and passing for 151 while completing 13-of-19 passes with one interception during the controlled phase.
The junior varsity wound up even with Ranchview in touchdowns (1-1) but moved the ball at will against the Wolves while the visitors scored on a long run.
Ranchview ripped off a 79-yard touchdown run but finished the scrimmage with just 66 total yards and failed to record a first down. The Friars scored on an 8-yard pass and gained 124 total yards.
As of today, there is no scrimmage scheduled for this week. The Friars are slated to open the 2019 season Friday, Aug. 30 against defending TAPPS D2 state champion Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill.
