DALLAS - The Bishop Lynch men's basketball team defeated Fort Worth Christian on Tuesday night to move to 4-0 on the year and remain undefeated.
The Friars found themselves in a tight battle against the Cardinals but pulled away in the fourth quarter by outscoring their opponent 17-9 to win 58-50.
Braxton Teal led all scorers with 20 points, going 4-7 from deep.
Sean Calloway added 15, and
Logan Epes scored 11, most coming in the fourth.
The Friars start 4-0 for the first time since the 2019-2020 season. They have been doing it with excellent team basketball. They move the ball around on offense so efficiently, averaging almost 15 assists per game. They also have quick hands on defense; they average over 10 steals a game with nearly 20 deflections as a team.
Individually, they have four players averaging double-digit points:
Braxton Teal and
Logan Epes are averaging 14.5 points per game, while
Grayson Bell and
Sean Calloway average 10.3 points per game.
The Friars continue their season when they host Carter on Friday in the Competition Gym.
