Men's Basketball Finishes Runners-Up at the 12th Annual Craig Bowers Tournament

ROYSE CITY, TX -- Grady Norton sank a clutch three-pointer with just over a minute left in the championship game against Richardson, giving the Friars a 49-48 lead. However, Bishop Lynch couldn't hold off Richardson, who ultimately secured the title on Saturday. The Friars finished as the runners-up in the 12th Annual Craig Bowers Tournament.

Over the three-day tournament, the Friars posted an impressive 3-1 record with victories over Tyler High School (54-49), Big Tyme Sports Academy (60-52), and Sherman High School (54-39). 

Both Grady Norton and Nathan Day were named to the All-Tournament Team, showcasing standout performances throughout the event. Day averaged 12.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game, while Norton contributed 8.0 points per game, shooting 43.8% from beyond the arc and adding 1.5 rebounds per game.
