Women's Basketball Brings Home Bronze at Knights of Columbus Tournament

DALLAS, TX -- Bishop Lynch High School successfully hosted the 61st Annual Knights of Columbus Bob Strass Memorial Tournament this past weekend. The Friars finished strong, securing a third-place finish with a commanding 58-40 victory over Colleyville Heritage on Saturday. 

Bishop Lynch posted a 2-1 record in the tournament, which included an opening-round win against Celina (66-41) and a hard-fought loss to Greenhill (54-41).

Fre Vowels continued her stellar junior campaign, earning All-Tournament honors. The dynamic guard averaged 18.7 points per game, 1.3 assists, and shot an impressive 50.0% from beyond the arc during the tournament.
