Bishop Lynch Clinches No. 2 Seed with Win Over Prestonwood

DALLAS, Texas  — The Bishop Lynch women's soccer team secured the No. 2 seed in TAPPS Division I-District 2 with a dominant 9-0 victory over Prestonwood Christian Academy on Tuesday night. The win also marked the Friars' 13th victory of the season, matching their total from last year.

Two Friars recorded hat tricks in the match. Madison Murphy was the first to achieve the feat, scoring three of her goals in the first half. Murphy didn't end there, as she scored a career-high fourth goal in the second half.

Bella Alamo followed with three goals of her own, bringing her season total to a team-high 23. Alamo also notched an assist, increasing her team-leading tally to 18.

Serenity Collins and Natalie Jung also found the back of the net, with both goals assisted by Lilly Annis.

NEXT UP:
Bishop Lynch will close out the regular season at home against Legacy Christian Academy tomorrow, February 12. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and will also serve as the team's annual Senior Night.
