Bishop Lynch Completes Season Sweep of Legacy Christian with Dominant Win

DALLAS, Texas – The Bishop Lynch High School women's basketball team completed a season sweep of district opponent Legacy Christian Academy with a commanding 52-17 victory last Friday. The Friars outscored the Eagles 112-33 across both matchups and evened their district record at .500 with the win.

It was a total team effort for Bishop Lynch, as six players scored at least five points. The Friars also got a season-high 16 points from their bench. Defensive pressure proved pivotal, as they forced 30 turnovers and converted them into 30 points.

Londyn Perry continued her strong play, leading the team with 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting while also dishing out six assists and grabbing two rebounds. Freshman Addy Flowers continues to show her growth on the season as she finished with 10 points and five rebounds.

With the playoffs approaching, Pari Patel and Lily Reyes will be key contributors off the bench. Both players made the most of their limited minutes Friday, scoring seven points each.

The win marked the Friars' 18th victory of the season and their third in district play, with just two games remaining. Their upcoming showdown with John Paul II is their most crucial game yet. With seeds No. 2 through No. 4 still up for grabs, a 10-point win over the Cardinals would significantly boost their chances of securing the No. 2 seed.
