DALLAS – Bishop Lynch opened up their 2020 season with a thrilling win over Arlington Grace Prep 3-1 (25-15, 22-25, 25-20, 30-28) in the Competition Gym Tuesday Night.

The Friars (1-0) opened up the first set with an 11-4 lead and never looked back. 

Coach Roos played 15 different players in the Friar victory Tuesday night. Veteran players like Lyric Berry showed no rust and a few new faces shined in their varsity debut. 

Berry led the team in kills (10) and blocks (4). Rachel Vlk had a team-high 20 assists with Jessie Canavan right behind her with 16. Charlotte Hain recorded 7 digs to lead the Friars.

Junior Varisity also kicked off their season last night with a 2-0 win over Arlington Grace Prep.
