Liberty Christian proves to be too much for the Friars

DALLAS, TX -- Liberty Christian School (4-0) came into Roffino Stadium and overwhelmed Bishop Lynch (1-4) on their way to a 56-7 win last Friday night. Despite the score, there were certainly bright spots for the Friars as they near district play.

The running game which has been so dominant for BL to start the season slowed down a bit against the vaunted Warrior defense. Godswill Giadolor was only able to accumulate 49 rushing yards on the night. The senior did score BL's only touchdown of the game in the second quarter, which brings his season total to 11. Ty Bradley also continued his hot streak, as the junior hauled in two catches for 43 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, Will Estes has made a big impact the past few weeks since he has moved to linebacker. The junior led the team in tackles as he was all over the field, finishing with a career-high 12 on the night. Colton Monroe and Alec Salazar each finished with double-digit tackles, totaling 11 and 10.
