Friars split their four games at the Colleyville Heritage Tip-Off Classic

COLLEYVILLE, TX -- The Bishop Lynch women's basketball team wrapped up its first tournament of the season over the weekend, finishing 2-2 at the Colleyville Heritage Tip-Off Classic. The Friars defeated Keller Central and McKinney North but dropped games to Midlothian and Timber Creek.

Junior standout Fre Vowels led Bishop Lynch over the four games, averaging 15.5 points and 2.8 assists. Bates College commit Londyn Perry added 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Thursday:
Midlothian defeated Bishop Lynch, 42-37

Friday:
Bishop Lynch defeated McKinney North, 51-41
Bishop Lynch defeated Keller Central, 46-39

Saturday:
Timber Creek defeated Bishop Lynch, 62-45

NEXT UP:
