Women's soccer continues hot start to season with 5-0 victory

DALLAS, TX --  Forward Bella Alamo scored twice and added an assist in Bishop Lynch's commanding 5-0 victory over the Home School Athletic Association at Roffino Stadium, pushing their goal differential this season to an impressive 16-0.

Not only did Bishop Lynch earn another win, but they also avenged last season's 2-1 loss to HSAA, showcasing the improvement of the team. While the offense made headlines, the defense and midfield were equally outstanding. Goalkeeper Alicia Gonzalez earned her second consecutive clean sheet, while the midfield controlled play to help Bishop Lynch to a 68-32 advantage in possession.

Ellis Kuntz doubled the lead with a well-executed set piece off a corner kick, making it 2-0. Madison Murphy converted a penalty kick after her dynamic run into the box drew a foul, and Serenity Collins finished off a pinpoint pass from Reese Myers to cap the night's scoring at 5-0.

Next Up:
The Friars will face their first away challenge of the season as they travel to Addison to take on Hockaday on Tuesday, Nov. 19, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. CT.
