Thomas and Williams Shine, but Friars Fall to Panthers

DALLAS – In a rematch of last year's TAPPS regional final, the Bishop Lynch men's basketball team fell 73-54 to Parish Episcopal on Tuesday night. Despite standout performances from captains Jagan Thomas and Jeremiah Williams, the Panthers pulled away late to secure the win.

The Friars faced an early deficit, trailing by as many as 14 points in the first half, but rallied behind strong defensive pressure and efficient shooting. Bishop Lynch trimmed the margin to just four at 52-48 early in the fourth quarter. However, Parish responded with a decisive 13-0 run, creating separation the Friars could not overcome.

Thomas and Williams continued to establish themselves as one of the most dynamic tandems in TAPPS, combining for 39 of Bishop Lynch's 54 points. Thomas delivered his eighth double-double of the season, pouring in 19 points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc while adding 12 rebounds. Williams added his fifth 20-point game of the year and also led the Friars with five assists.
