Bishop Lynch Rolls Past TCA, Sets Up District Championship Clash

DALLAS, Texas – The Bishop Lynch men's basketball team closed out its regular-season home schedule in style, defeating Trinity Christian Academy 74-61 on Tuesday night. The win improved the Friars to 23-12 overall and 4-1 in district play, setting up a crucial showdown in Plano on Friday to determine the district champion.

Bishop Lynch shot efficiently throughout the night, hitting 50% from both the field and beyond the arc. The Friars' 11 made three-pointers tied their season-high, matching performances against Cistercian (Dec. 20) and St. Mark's (Nov. 15).

Jeremiah Williams led the offensive charge with his third 30-point game of the season, finishing with 31 points on 9-of-15 shooting. He also knocked down 3-of-4 from three-point range, a weapon that has become increasingly effective in his game over the past few weeks.

Nathan Day, known for his facilitation, has recently become a bigger scoring threat. His increased shooting has contributed to a rise in the Friars' points per game. On Tuesday, he hit three three-pointers while dishing out a team-high nine assists and grabbing three rebounds.

Norton was the third Friar to connect on at least three shots from beyond the arc, going 3-of-4 from deep and finishing with 10 points. Paxton Scalf and Aiden Scholz also contributed from long range.
