Bishop Lynch High School Announces New Head Cheerleading Coach

Please join me in welcoming our new head cheer coach, Kyle Brooks '07.

A proud Friar alumna, Kyle began her cheer journey in middle school, continued on the BL cheer team as a freshman, and was an All-Star competitive cheerleader. She went on to cheer in college at the prestigious Howard University where she developed her skills as both an athlete and a leader.

After college, Kyle trained with the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks organizations before moving to Los Angeles, where she danced professionally for 10 years. During that time, she also built a successful career as a fitness professional and entrepreneur. She ran a multimillion-dollar fitness company working with high-profile clients and leading major wellness initiatives across the city.

"We are proud to welcome Kyle back to Bishop Lynch to lead the Friar Cheer program. As an alumna, former collegiate cheerleader, and seasoned professional in the dance and performance world, she returns with unmatched energy, passion, and vision. Her leadership honors our traditions and commitment to excellence while opening an exciting new chapter for the continued growth and success of Friar Cheer," said Bishop Lynch Director of Athletics Alex Cantillo. 

Now back at her alma mater, Kyle brings a wealth of experience in performance, leadership, and team development. She leads the Freshman, JV, and Varsity cheer teams into their next chapter focused on spirit, unity, and growth. Her goal is to create a positive, high-achieving, high-energy program where every athlete feels empowered and proud to represent Bishop Lynch.
