Bishop Lynch Announces 2026-27 Cheer Leadership Team

DALLAS — Bishop Lynch High School has named its student leadership team for the 2026-27 cheer program, highlighted by the selection of Adriana Fontanez as head captain.

Fontanez will lead the Friars' cheer program alongside Culture Captain Brinley Jackson, who will focus on team unity, spirit, and program-wide engagement.

At the varsity level, Reese Newman has been named senior captain, while Taylor Laffere will serve as junior captain. Both will play key roles in leading on the sidelines, supporting team development, and representing the program at school and community events.

On the junior varsity squad, Annie Silliman and Slaton Tompkins have been selected as captains. The duo will guide the JV team's growth while helping build a strong foundation for the future of Bishop Lynch cheer.

The leadership group reflects a balance of experience, energy, and commitment as the Friars prepare for the upcoming school year. Together, the captains will help set the tone for the program, emphasizing teamwork, school spirit, and pride in representing Bishop Lynch.
