Friars Close Non-District Play with 3-0 Sweep of Parish Episcopal

DALLAS – The Bishop Lynch volleyball team (17-9) wrapped up its non-district schedule with a dominant 3-0 victory over Parish Episcopal on Thursday night in Panther Gym.

Bishop Lynch 3, Parish Episcopal 0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-16)

Senior Maddie Sue Pflum continued her hot streak, leading the Friars with nine kills and a .471 hitting percentage. Over the last four matches, Pflum has tallied 32 kills while hitting .333.

Bishop Lynch's hitters outperformed the Panthers 38-21, thanks in large part to excellent setting from Maia Raleigh (15) and Suzanne Hughes (14) who combined for 29 of the Friars' 35 assists.

The Friar defense also shined, with Camila Figueroa (19) and Katie Rebuck (14) each recording double-digit digs. Pflum anchored the net with four blocks.
