Williams’ 30 Leads Friars to Fourth Straight Win

DALLAS — The Bishop Lynch men's basketball team continued its hot streak Tuesday night with a 76-52 victory over Nolan Catholic in the Competition Gym. Jeremiah Williams and Jagan Thomas proved too much for the Vikings, combining for 51 of the Friars' 76 points as Bishop Lynch won its fourth straight game and the 13th out of its last 16.

Before tip-off, the Bishop Lynch Athletics Department and head coach Kyle May honored Williams for reaching the 1,000-point milestone earlier this season at the South San Tournament. The senior was presented with a commemorative plaque to celebrate his place in Bishop Lynch men's basketball history.

Williams made the night even more memorable with a dominant performance, scoring a team-high 30 points on 13-of-19 shooting, including a single-game career-high four three-pointers. The senior guard also added six rebounds and three assists.

Thomas continued his outstanding season as well, recording another double-double—his team-high 15th of the year—with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while also dishing out three assists.
