The freshman Friars opened district play Friday with a 61-43 win at home over Liberty Christian.
Michael Horak led the team with 17 points and Jackson Epes tossed in nine to help the Friars move to 7-3 overall and 1-0 in district play.
BL opened a 15-6 lead after the first period, but was outscored by 12 in the second to fall behind 27-24 at halftime.
Switching to a mad defense in the third, the Friars held LCS to just three points and took a 37-30 lead into the fourth.
BL exploded for 24 points in the final frame to run away with the win.
