Box Score ARLINGTON - Bishop Lynch took care of business on the road Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep over Grace Prep.

The Friars' offense was connecting on all cylinders throughout the night. Five Friars had four or more kills, Lauryn Lambert (10), Paloma Gonzalez (9), Maddie Nolan (8), Ashlyn Zilliken (4) and Cheyenne Luper (4). BL wasn't just hitting the ball hard, they were hitting it accurately with six ladies hitting better than .300: Paloma Gonzalez, Maddie Nolan, Jessie Canavan, Leah Oyewole, Cate Hatfield and Maddie Smotherman.

On defense, the Friars were led by Jessie Canavan, who had a team-high of 17 digs. Cate Hatfield (10 digs) and Maddie Smotherman (9 digs) played well defensively too.

Sub-Varsity Notes: Bishop Lynch went 4-4 on the night for the second time this season. The junior varsity had an easy sweep of Grace Prep 2-0 (25-12, 25-8). The sophomore team continued their hot streak by defeated Clark High School 2-0. In what was the most entertaining game of the evening, the freshman team rallied back after dropping the first set to defeat Clark 2-1.
