DALLAS - Number one Parish Episcopal was too much for the Friars last Friday night as the Panthers defeated Bishop Lynch 44-0.
Parish (5-1, 1-0) came into the game playing one of, if not the hardest non-district schedule in the entire state and Bishop Lynch (1-5, 0-1) was coming off their first win of the season when the two teams met last Friday.
Parish got off to a fast start, scoring 16 points in the first two minutes. After the shock wore off for BL and our men settled into the game, the Friars put some good things together.
Aiden McGinnis and
Legend Howell continue to build their connection on the offensive side of the ball. Howell found McGinnis six times, one going for 20-yards.
Godswill Giadolor continues to show his reliability at running back as he finished with 69 yards on just nine carries.
Defensively, Joshua Thornhill continues to be a playmaker. He finished with two interceptions and a team-high seven tackles. Thornhill now has three interceptions in his last two games.
Luke Carter also recovered a fumble, to give the Friars three turnovers in the game a season-high.
Next Up:Â Bishop Lynch will host Trinity Christian Academy this Friday at 7:00 in Roffino Stadium. This is BL's homecoming game and the first time we will be playing TCA since 2017 when the Friars defeated the Trojans 28-7.

JV Blake:Â They defeated Parish 14-7 last Thursday Night in Roffino Stadium. They are now 3-2 on the season.
