DALLAS -- The Bishop Lynch volleyball team had their biggest win on Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep over Parish Episcopal. The Panthers (13-6-1, 6-5) had beaten the Friars (28-10, 7-3) on 9/29 and held the tiebreaker for district seeding. With the win, and Parish dropping a few early games in district play, the Friars have now clinched the number two seed for playoffs.

TCA, it was good to be back in front of Friar Nation for Tuesday night's sweep over Parish.
The Friars were also celebrating the Class of 2023 as this game was their senior night. Senior players

Bishop Lynch held a ceremony for the seniors before the game where they were honored with their families. They have all accomplished so much as student-athletes at BL.
The senior ladies had a great evening on the court as well. They combined for 28 of the Friars' 43 kills and seven of the nine blocks.
Lauryn Lambert led the team with kills, getting 10 of them.
Cate Hatfield had a game-high 18 assists.
Maddie Smotherman also had a great game with 11 digs and two aces, both game highs.
Sub-Varsity:
JV1:Â They defeated Parish 2-0 on Tuesday night. They move to 24-2 on the season and they have won 11 straight games.
JV2: They finished up their fantastic season with a 2-0 victory over Plano. Their season record finished at 17-10.

Bishop Lynch hits the road on Thursday as they face off against their rival Ursuline Academy.
