Bishop Lynch High School (TAPPS 1-District 1) has its home opener against a recently familiar opponent in Celina High School (UIL District 7-4A) tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Roffino Stadium. The Friars (0-1, 0-0) fell in their season opener to now 2-0 L.D. Bell last week, despite
out-gaining them. Celina (1-0, 0-0) won their season opener against Paris 40-9.

Players to Watch:
Celina:
#22 Logan Gutierrez: The well-rounded sophomore back ran for 190 three touchdowns in their week 1 victory over Paris.
#49 Ryan Reemts: Reemts had a big pick-six in their week one victory over Paris. He is a leader in the middle of the field and is prone to making big plays.
Bishop Lynch:
#6
Ty Bradley: Bradley finished with three catches and 35 yards in week one. Look for the big junior to find more success against an aggressive Celina defense.
#11
Gabe Nimmo: The junior had a wonderful debut on the defensive side of the ball for the Friars in week one. He will need to be all over the field to help stop the dynamic Celina offense.
Keys to the Game:
Celina: The Bobcat's new young backfield tore up Paris for a total of 270 yards. Look for the offense to use its big offensive line to run the ball to try to wear down the Friar defense. Celina did have trouble in their special teams, with three total kicks blocked or missed last week.
Bishop Lynch: The Friars played well against L.D. Bell was between the 20s last week, looking virtually unstoppable on offense. They will need to fix up their red zone play to stay in this one. Celina plays an aggressive defense so look for the Friars to take a few deep shots.
