Defending champs continue hot start, men show steady improvement in meet against Woodrow Wilson

| By:
DALLAS, TX -- In their third meet in just seven days, the Bishop Lynch women's swim team maintained their impressive early-season form with a dominant 125-33 victory over Woodrow Wilson. Though the men's team fell 94-29, they showed significant improvement across the board.
The women swept all 11 events, finishing first and second in nine of them. Freshman standout Grier Beeson continued her remarkable debut season with first-place finishes in the shortest and longest events—the 50 Free and 500 Free.

Beeson was one of many Friars shining in multiple events. Fellow freshman Caroline Hays captured first in the 200 IM and 100 Free, while sophomore Ella Whitney secured impressive victories in the 200 Free and 100 Fly.

Additional event winners included Ella Nichols (100 Back), Carolina Girard (100 Breast), and all three relay teams.

On the men's side, first-year sophomore Rush Trent narrowly won the 50 Free, while sophomore Liam Gallaher notched a personal best to win the 200 Free.
