HALTOM CITY, Texas – The Bishop Lynch cross country teams competed Thursday morning at The Buff in the Haltom District Warm-Up, their final tune-up before the TAPPS District Meet on Oct. 15. The women placed fourth overall, led by Emme Driscoll's first-place finish, while the men finished eighth behind a top-10 effort from Dash Raya.

Driscoll clocked a 12:22.91 in the women's 3.2k, edging the runner-up by just 1.32 seconds in a thrilling finish. Her victory paced the Friars to a fourth-place team result, finishing behind TAPPS rivals Prestonwood Christian Academy and John Paul II but ahead of Legacy Christian Academy.

On the men's side, Raya crossed in 17:34.58 in the varsity 5k to secure sixth place individually. His effort helped the Friars place eighth as a team, finishing ahead of Legacy Christian Academy (13th) but falling short against John Paul II, who took third.
