Friars Continue Strong Start at Lovejoy

LUCAS, Texas — The Bishop Lynch wrestling team had an action-packed Saturday at the Lovejoy Tournament, with the men finishing the day 3–2 and earning wins over Lake Highlands, St. Mark's, and McKinney Boyd.

Kane Preskitt led the Friars with an undefeated day, even while competing up a weight class. Philip Keith dominated in neutral position, converting takedowns at will against strong opponents. Noah Bianchi also delivered a standout performance, recording two pins — one against St. Mark's and another against Plano West.

On the women's side, captain Violet Libson powered through the competition, winning all of her matches in decisive fashion. Freshman Sophia Salais also impressed, scoring 22 points in one match and earning a win by technical pin.
