Friars Steal a Victory with Eight-Run Inning

ADDISON, Texas — After four slow innings, the Bishop Lynch softball team erupted for eight runs in the final frame to rally past Greenhill for an 11-10 victory. The Friars scored six of those runs with two outs, and the comeback was still in progress when the game was called due to darkness.

Aliyah Cahill led the way at the plate, going 4-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored. Kylie Love, Faith Peterson, and Aaliyah Bryant each drove in two runs, combining to go 5-for-10.

The Friars improved to 7-7 with just a few games remaining before district play begins in late March.

NEXT UP:
Bishop Lynch is set to host its home opener on Thursday, March 6, against Liberty Christian. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Ferguson Park.
