Peterson Leads Bishop Lynch’s All-District Softball Honors

DALLAS – Faith Peterson led the way for Bishop Lynch softball, earning TAPPS Division I-District 2 First Team All-District honors, while Aaliyah Bryant, Aliyah Cahill, and Anna Medaris also received All-District recognition.

Peterson collected her fourth career TAPPS First Team All-District honor after a dominant season at the plate. She reached base in 20 of the 22 games she played and led the team in batting average (.600), on-base percentage (.722), hits (30), home runs (1), runs (33), walks (17), and stolen bases (42).

Bryant and Cahill earned Second Team All-District honors for their strong offensive contributions. Bryant hit .383 on the season with 21 RBIs and 20 stolen bases. Cahill posted the second-highest batting average on the team at .456, recording 26 hits and 19 RBIs.

Medaris received Honorable Mention All-District honors following a standout freshman campaign. She was Ms. Reliable for the Friars, appearing in every game this season. Medaris led the team in RBIs during district play (5) and finished the season with a .361 batting average, 15 runs, 15 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases.
