FORT WORTH – Bishop Lynch (0-3) traveled to Fort Worth last Friday to face off against Nolan Catholic (4-0) and lost 44-0. This was the Friar's first game since October 2nd when they played John Paul II. The Vikings started the game quickly, scoring 30 points in the first quarter. After knocking off some rust, the Friars held their own and only gave up 14 points in the last three quarters.
Senior Captain
Liam Brace led the Friars all night as he started and played both ways. On offense, he lead the line as the starting center, and on defense, he came up with two sacks which stalled Nolan drives and forced them to punt.
Beau Renteria also played a great game as he got 12 tackles and a tackle for loss.
Ben Van Wey and
Cort Doyle both forced a fumble giving the defense two takeaways on the night. This gives the Friars defense six takeaways in three games.

Austin Schnurr. Schnurr completed two passes for first downs in his limited time. One was a 10-yard completion to Matthew McLaughlin, and the other was a 28-yard throw down the sideline to
Ethan Morrison.
Isaiah Schmidtke lead the Friars on the ground rushing for 37 yards.
