BETHELEHEM, PA —
Charlie Holub went 3-2 with two wins by pin during last weekend's National Prep Wrestling Championships on the campus of Lehigh University.

Holub finished just a win shy of achieving All-American status as the 11
th seed in the 220-pound division. He opened with a pin at the 1:55 mark, then fell to the 6
th seed in his second match. Holub responded with a 6-4 win by decision over the 12
th seed and a pin in his fourth match. He finished the competition with a loss by decision to the 9
th seed.

Cort Doyle lost two matches by decision in the 152-pound division, falling to the nation's 8
th seed by a 10-2 score, then a 4-0 loss in his second match of the double-elimination format. In the 120-pound division,
James Hickerson suffered defeat at the hands of the 2
nd overall seed in a tough opening draw and lost his second match to end the competition.
