Friars stay hot with convincing win over Pinkston

DALLAS – Bishop Lynch (13-6) men hosted Pinkston on Tuesday night and continued to stay hot as they won 83-50 over the UIL 4A school.

In a dominating all-around performance, the Friars never had a doubt from the opening points in which junior Logan Epes found fellow junior Brice Davis for an easy layup. The offense was in a groove as everyone was able to make an impact throughout the game. Senior Imo Essien finished with 15 points, five assists and four steals and Davis added 20 points and five rebounds.

BL is now on a three-game winning streak as district play approaches. In those three games, the Friars averaged 79 points and their defense held opponents to 52 points.

UP NEXT: Friars will host Nolan Catholic on Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Competition Gym.
