Congratulations to the following ten Bishop Lynch student-athletes on signing to play and continue their academic career at the next level! Bishop Lynch had a morning ceremony to celebrate Maddie Nolan, Joe Yoxall, Ayen Angoi, Madison Cockrell, Jenna Nowland, Abby Fowler, Ellie Rodriguez, Keanne Alamo, Hadley Beeson and Stella Todd.

Maddie Nolan - John Brown University
Maddie has been a varsity member of the BL volleyball team for three years and is having her best year this year. Maddie is third on the team with 233 kills and fourth on the team in blocks. She has been vital to the team's advancement to the regionals in the playoffs so far.

Joe Yoxall - Bates College
Joe has become a vital part of the Friar baseball team going into his senior season. Last year in the shortened covid year, Joe finished third on the team in RBI's while also having a 100% steal rate. He also had a great year on defense as he had a 90% field percentage at shortstop. Joe was named honorable mention all-district last year.

Ayen Angoi, Basketball - Louisiana Tech University
Ayen has over 200 points in her two years on varsity while also securing 174 rebounds. Last year Ayen averaged 6.4 points and 4.7 rebounds for the Friars and shot 48.9% from the field. Ayen was named 1st team all-district and honorable mention all-state last year.

Madison Cockrell, Basketball - University of Texas at San Antonio
Madison proved to be one of the best defenders in the state last year as she racked up 100 steals in a single season. Madison has 729 points, 233 rebounds, 160 assists, and 169 steals for Bishop Lynch in her career. Last year Madison averaged 12.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game for the Friars. This led her to receive 1st team all-state and all-district honors.

Jenna Nowland, Lacrosse - Dickinson University
Jenna has been a monumental player for the lacrosse program at Bishop Lynch. Jenna broke three school records en route to helping the Friars advance to their first-ever championship game. She holds the record for most goals in a season (33), most draw controls in a season (45) and most goals in a single game (9).

Abby Fowler, Rowing - Southern Methodist University
Abby will be staying local as she will attend SMU next year. Much like Ellie, Abby rows at DUC and is on the Women's Youth Varsity 8+ boat. Abby has helped her boat qualify for nationals. Abby has made unbelievable growth after only joining DUC a year ago.

Ellie Rodriguez, Rowing - University of Texas
After taking up the sport in her freshman year, Ellie rose the ranks quickly at Dallas United Club and is currently the stoke-seat on the Women's Youth Varsity 8+ at DUC. Ellie will be going to a great program at Texas, the defending NCAA champion.
 
Keanne Alamo, Soccer - Oral Roberts University
Keanne earned honorable mention all-district last year for the Friars. She scored five goals and assisted on eight others throughout her junior year. Keanne will be playing with the Phillipean National Soccer team this year, helping them qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Hadley Beeson - Texas A&M University
Hadley has had a tremendous career for the Friars, winning 12 total medals at the TAPPS Division 1 state competition in her career, including t10 gold medals. She also holds six Bishop Lynch swimming records and one TAPPS Divison 1 record.

Stella Todd - University of Kentucky
Stella's career at Bishop Lynch is nonother than outstanding. Stella has won 12 total medals at the TAPPS Division 1 state competition, including 11 gold. She also holds five Bishop Lynch swimming records and one TAPPS Division 1 record.
