Box Score FORT WORTH - Bishop Lynch opened up the playoffs with a statement win over Nolan Catholic on Tuesday night at Hartnett Arena.

The Friars had to travel to Fort Worth being the lower seed, but it didn't look like that on the court as they won in straight sets 25-16, 25-21, 25-22. Lauryn Lambert led the team throughout the night with momentum swinging kills as she recorded a double-double. She led the team with 11 kills and 10 digs on the night while also adding three aces.

Maddie Nolan, who signed her letter of intent to play at John Brown University (Read about that here), had equally just as great of a game. Her kills on the outside could be echoed throughout the arena when they hit the floor; she finished with eight total. Cheyenne Luper had arguably her best game all year as she finished with five kills playing in the middle. Setting up the Friar hitter all night was Rachel Vlk and Cate Hatfield, combining for 29 assists.

This win sets up a regional matchup against district champion Prestonwood. The Friars and Lions will be playing at Prosper Rock Hill High School on Saturday, November 13th, at 7:00 PM.
