Men's basketball win their seventh straight game with a victory over Bryan Adams

DALLAS -- Bishop Lynch men's basketball is the hottest team on campus right now and that showed on Tuesday night when they defeated our neighbor down the street Bryan Adams 59-55. The Friars have now won seven straight games and are 9-1 on the season, their best start to a season since the 2017-18 season.

Baker Trent had a career night against the Cougars, scoring a career-high 23 points on 9-16 shooting. The offense ran through Trent all night and he was able to pick apart Bryan Adams' defense, scoring 12 of his 23 points in the paint.

Devin Miller has been a spark for the Friars this season. Miller provides plenty of highlights on the court with his fast and athletic play. On Tuesday night, Miller had a breakaway dunk that fueled the Friars' hot start and helped BL grab an early 20-6 lead after the first quarter.

Hayden Bauer has had a great season so far and is one of the reasons the Friars are off to a hot start. He finished the game on Tuesday night with 10 points and five rebounds. On the season he is averaging seven points and seven rebounds.

The Friars struggled from deep throughout the night, going 3-15 as a team, but when they needed it most Aiden Schnurr was there, making both of his three-pointers in the second half when the Cougars were attempting to get back into the game.
